The Trainline allows you to find the train you want at the time you want and purchase your ticket at a discounted price in advance of travel. Tickets can collected from the station automated ticket machine. You will need to have your ticket reference and your purchasing card with you. A confirmation email will include the reference number. You can also receive an e-ticket which can be printed out or sent to your mobile phone and can be read at the ticket barrier. Not every station yet has a functioning system so check before travelling.
